Fitzgerald
Background
Restaurant Fitzgerald is named after the famous writer Francis Scott Fitzgerald. The writer who once said, "Too much of anything is bad, but too much Champagne is just right."
Moreover our chef Michael Verhagen and his staff have managed to ensure the kitchen is considered to be one of Rotterdams most interesting in a short period of time.
From 2018 on Fitzgerald has been awarded one Michelin star.
Restaurant
Fitzgerald is a contemporary culinary and wine destination where Rotterdammers and international guests meet. A restaurant, with a beautiful private dining, a spacious bar, and a private garden. It is located on the modern Gelderseplein in the historic Oude Haven.
The international interior combines modern design with vintage classics.
The kitchen, under the guidance of Chef Michael Verhagen, has a classical basis, but with a modern twist and serves mainly seasonal ingredients.
Restaurant Fitzgerald is open from Wednesday till Saturday for lunch and dinner.
You can choose from the à la carte menu to a maximum of 5 guests. Will you be visiting us with a larger party? We are more than happy to serve you one of our set menu's or create a tailor-made menu for you. On Saturdays we offer no à la carte options.
Private Dining
Restaurant Fitzgerald offers the option to book a beautiful private dining room for a party from 10 up to approximately 28 people, depending on how the table setting will be arranged. This space can be subtly closed with see through sliding doors, whereby your private company is still part of the restaurant. The well-chosen interior combines classic elements with modern design and offers an elegant, warm setting. You can choose your menu here from five up to seven courses. Depending on your program and/or number of guests there are additional costs for the use of the private dining.
Adjacent to the private dining we also have the garden room where we can welcome larger parties.
