Growing up in the Loire Valley, I attended the catering college in Saumur where I passed my Sommelier exam. I then went on to work at some prestigious establishments including ‘La Reserve de Beaulieu’ in Beaulieu sur Mer in the Côte d’Azur, ‘l’Hotel de Paris’ in Monaco, ‘Celtic Manor Resort’ in South Wales, ‘The Breakers Resort’ in Palm Beach, Florida, ‘Hotel TerraVina’ in the New Forest, UK, Restaurant Sat Bains with rooms, UK.
During my career, I’ve had the pleasure of working with incredibly talented and knowledgeable people who have motivated me in wanting to be the best I can be.
All my hard work paid off in 2010 when I passed my Master Sommelier exam gaining the Crew Cup for best achievement and also won the Gastronomy Team of the Year competition. I carried on by taking 3rd position of Best Sommelier UK competition in 2012 and passed the Certified Sake Sommelier exam in 2014.
Coming back to Holland after more than 10 years abroad I was eager to join a wine focussed restaurant and found Fitzgerald through a mutual friend. I am very much looking forward to the opportunity ahead and are also enjoying developing my Dutch skills.
